The purpose of learning is to ensure safe loading, conveying and off-loading of dangerous goods according to legal and organisational requirements. Credited learners can convey dangerous goods in accordance with legal, safety, manufacturer and other relevant requirements and handle incidents safely when they occur.

Certificate Validity: 1 Year Course Requirements: Certified Drivers License/ I.D Passport, Medical Fitness Certificate/ 25 Years and Older
The qualifying learner achieving this unit standard will be able to identify the presence of a hazardous materials incident and take the relevant precautionary measures.

This is a non-accredited training. Designed to assist learners to be prepared to respond correctly to spillage incidents should there be one. Part of the training is to conduct a practical emergency spill drill, simulate a spill, assess the situation, contain the spill, clean it up, and decontaminate the area, while emphasizing communication and following established procedures.

The person credited with this unit standard is able to load/unload dangerous goods for transportation by road. Learners are also able to complete required documentation regarding declaration and comply with South African National Standards 10231 requirements and organisational operational procedures and requirements.

Certificate Validity: 2 Years Course Requirements: Basic Communication Skills
The course is customized and will be conducted with regards to the specific location and product. In preparation of the training, we require MSDS’s and a brief discussion with the client. In order to ensure the training will be conducted to meet the client’s specific products and requirements.
